The 3^rd annual network meeting was organized by Michel Goldschmidt-Clermont from the University of Geneva at the Eurotel Victoria in Les Diablerets (www.eurotel-victoria.ch). The meeting was devoted to in depth discussions of scientific progress of the fellow’s projects and their future career development. To this end, three renowned scientists from different fields were invited to give a talk on their research and to discuss with the fellows during poster sessions. These were Xenie Johnson from the CEA Cadarache (FR), Sven Gould from the Heinrich-Heine University in Düsseldorf (DE), and Christian Fankhauser from the University of Lausanne (CH). Modern developments in plant phenotyping and technical possibilities for screening experiments were also presented by Tereza Dobisova from the associated partner PSI in Drasov (CZ). During the poster sessions also the fellow’s updated PCD plans were discussed and in extra sessions issues of reporting and management aspects of the project.
